It seems that Ichiriki Chaya has this strong image: Ichiriki Chaya = Fresh seafoods. But what am I going to introduce to you is their service “Massage”. I have nothing but praises for their excellent Aura in a very affordable price.
An instructor from WatPo in Thailand trained their staff with real Thai massageso they can really massage your body with care.
Surprisingly, Ichiriki Chaya is being visited by different kinds of races. Not only Japanese, Koreans, and Filipinos, but also Americans, Europeans and others come here to relax and relieve their bodies from tiredness and stress.

The oil being used at the massage parlor is being imported directly from Thai. The foot massage oil disinfects bacteria (athlete’s foot, etc.) to avoid infections. Also, the foot and body oil can remove fatigue and has a relaxation effect. (From the owner)

Ichiriki Chaya has an elegant and modern interior with a refined and comforting ambiance that you would even wonder if it really exists in Cebu. I have been there and I had a body massage. They did the massage in a clean and quiet room.
My whole body was carefully massaged, from the back, legs, arms and to the head, using oil that is being ordered from Thai. The oil smells good and is made from a kind of orange. The pain I felt gave a very good kind of feeling when I was massaged particularly from the joints of my legs and thighs to my ankles and at the back of my feet. Also, when my scalp was massaged, it really felt so good that I wanted to say “Please continue the massage”.
At first, I really throbbed at the thought that I have poor English language skills and it will be my first time to have a body massage. But the therapist was so nice and had always put a smile on her face. She gave me a massage carefully and slowly that I had really felt relieved until the massage ended.
After the oil massage, she wiped my whole body with a hot towel. My skin really became soft and smooth. I was suffering from swollen feet because of the cold before the massage. But after it, maybe the flow of my lymph became normal again that is why I already felt light on my feet. I also felt like my tight fitting pants loosened up.
Then, I ate at their elegant restaurant. Their seafoods, side dish and other foods were very delicious.
They also have couple’s rooms. Friends or lovers can have a body massage together in those rooms.
