Fil Hangang is located inside SM. You can drop by the restaurant while you are shopping at the mall. It has a very clean interior and real Korean menus beautifully and modernly dished up. It is a recommended restaurant when you go shopping at the renewed SM one of these days.

Buldak (hot and spicy chicken dish: left photo) and Bulkogi (traditional Korean food: lower left photo) are just perfect for people in Cebu who don’t usually eat vegetables. They put a lot of Sanchu on their dishes. Sanchu is a lettuce being imported directly from Korea.

Put Miso (soybean paste) on the meat on hot plate, wrap the meat with Sanchu and eat it. This is how they eat Bulkogi. How interesting.

After giving in to the temptation of eating Buldak or Bulkogi, you can enjoy their Korean style dessert (→). It has cinnamon and ginger that can lighten the stomach after a full meal.

Gimpap (left photo) was also delicious. Gimpap rice is flavored with sesame oil (Sushi is flavored with vinegar). It is wrapped with Nori, a Korean traditional seaweed. This is best to eat with roasted meats.

Nabe Ryori (food in a pot) is being done on the next table. This is a Mandu Jongol, a hot soup that contains Kimchi and Korean dumplings.
Serving Hours (3pm-5pm)
During serving hours, Chijimi, Gimpap, and other 5 most ordered menus are available in reasonable prices. Whether you want a light meal or a heavy meal, the restaurant has always something available for you. So when you are having a late lunch because of too much shopping, it’s a best place to drop by.

The restaurant is very clean and the staff are also friendly.
