Film over the eye is the one of the easiest organ to regenerate. As per the Dr, after only 3 hours, eye conditions will recover to original. That is LASIK, and depend on the one's eye condition, there is also surgery called LASEK can be operated, basic procedure is the same as LASIK.
Dr. Yong has many surgical experiences in outside of Philippines and has 6 years of practice in laser. He operates about 100 patients every month and about 40% of patients are foreigners. There are many Japanese patients however Australian are the biggest markets currently. Many of them actually taken a trip to Cebu just to have him operate the surgery. IMG_3678.gif

Eye checks ups and consultation fees are already included in the surgery fee. After the surgery is completed you may pay at full, fee is P65,000 for both eyes. For those who are considering the eye surgery, it is most recommended to consulate the Dr. and consent 100% before proceed to next step. Of course after hearing the procedure and consulate with the Dr. you surely can change your mind not to take the surgery.


Surgery procedure:
  • 1. Have eye check for surgery. After the check up, consulate with Dr. Yong, he will answer any questions you have and take time for you to understand completely.
  • 2. Patient not wearing contact lens and has no problem at the check up, following Wednesday, you may proceed to the surgery. For those who is wearing contact lens, take off soft contact lens for 3 days and 3 weeks to 1 month off for hard contact and have eye check ups again.
  • 3. After passing the check up, proceed to surgery.
  • 4. Apply eye drop to anesthetize. No pain and view becomes blurred that no fear either.
  • 5. Only takes about few mins for surgery.
  • 6. You can open the eye right after the surgery. View is still blurred however you can feel the different and improve vision.
  • 7. For few days after the surgery, extra caution will requires and try to avoid dust and water into eyes. And eye gear will be provided to protect your eyes.
